Welcome to the Association for Scientific Advancement in Psychological Injury and Law (ASAPIL). The goals of the ASAPIL include the following:
If you are a forensic mental health professional or an attorney working in the areas of personal injury, employment law, rehabilitation, veterans law, trauma, and more, you might be interested in the benefits of membership in ASAPIL.
Or you might want to peruse a list of the psychological journal articles that have appeared in our flagship publication, the professional, peer-reviewed journal, Psychological Injury and Law.
Detailed information about the journal is also available, including subscription options, aims and scope of the journal, and instructions to authors.
If you'd like to know more about who is involved in the Association for Scientific Advancement in Psychological Injury and Law, you might want to review our Membership Roster and the Editorial Board of the journal.
We offer continuing education workshops in the area of psychological injury and law. Our most recent workshop--an overview of the area--is available at no cost and is presented in a series of online videos by the Association's founder and President, Dr. Gerald Young.
The Association also sponsors on email discussion list hosted by Google Groups. This list is available to members only and provides participants with an opportunity to ask questions of experts in psychological injury and law, share their expertise, and network with like-minded professionals. If you are an ASAPIL member and would like to join the discussion list, please contact the Secretary of the Association for an email invitation with a link to join.
